Internationally recognised as IPMA Level D - 'Project Management Associate'

APMP is a proven baseline qualification widely recognised throughout business and industry.  It also provides a foundation for higher project management qualifications including the Practitioner Qualification and the Registered Project Professional. 

It is suitable for anyone substantially involved in project activity at supervisory and management levels.  It covers 37 project management topics.  The 3 hour written exam is taken one week after the course. 

Topics include:

Context – the business context, success criteria and factors, programme and portfolio management, governance of projects, project life cycle, organisational structures.

Concept – requirements management, business case, benefits management, conflict management, negotiations, leadership, teamworking and communication.

Definition – the Project Management Plan, quality management, risk management, health safety and environmental management, scope definition and planning, schedule and resource planning, cost planning and estimating, procurement.

Implementation – project control, schedule and cost control, change & configuration management.

Handover and Closeout – handover, closeout and post project review.
