The Association for Project Management is a founding member of the International Project Management Association and is the UK body dedicated to the development and promotion of professionalism in project and programme management.  It is the UK examination and award authority for a number of project management qualifications corresponding to the IPMA certification levels.

The International Project Management Association is based in Switzerland and represents more than 50 project management associations from all continents of the world.  It actively promotes project management globally and provides a four level certification framework for internationally recognised project management qualifications.  It is now supported by member associations throughout Europe, North and South America, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Australia.
