This workshop prepares candidates for the Practitioner Qualification through practise in the application of project management knowledge, skills and techniques in a non-complex project scenario.  In additional to technical competences it also addresses behavioural, team working and presentation skills which are assessed through the Practitioner Qualification.

This 2 day workshop is suitable for anyone with more than three years experience in the management of projects, such as work package managers, team leaders and assistant project managers.

Developing a Business Case: project success criteria and business benefits; project constraints and dependences; value management; the business case,

Project Management Planning: project organisation; project scope; procurement management plan; quality management plan; project network, Gantt chart and resource plan,

Risk Management: risk management strategy; identifying and managing risks and assumptions,

Project Control and Change Management: monitoring progress; controls; project issues; managing stakeholder expectations; change control & configuration management,

Post Project Review: post project evaluation review; lessons learnt and continuous improvement.
