Qualification Workshop - Projects Director

This workshop is
delivered as part of an action learning programme for individuals wishing
to become certificated through IPMA at Level A 'Projects Director'.
The workshop and Action
Learning Programme is appropriate for anyone with five years of
experience in portfolio management and/or programme management with
strategic relevance, at least three years as a responsible leader in
the management of complex portfolios or programmes and at least two
years of experience in managing projects.
This 2 day
workshop is
highly interactive and provides opportunities to review, discuss and
receive feedback from all participants.
Topics
are proposed by delegates and are typically drawn from the following areas:
Programme Management: strategy;
value management; risk taking and management; organisational
alignment,
Portfolio management: innovation management:
influences and
relationships in technology; new product development; organisational
interfaces,
Learning and Development: competence frameworks;
establishing a learning environment and centre of excellence,

Developing the project management culture:
standards; methods;
information; policies for governance of programmes,
